I do like my RR's so it is nice to try a Bentley. They really are well built and although not exactly simple they aren't too bad to work on and once sorted are not that expensive to maintain unless you buy into all the owners club stuff about servicing. I am hoping that I will keep this one. I get through so many cars I really should just stop buying stuff and keep one good car. Which Rover is it by the way ? I have a slight desire to own a P5 one day.AutoshiteBoy wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2020 10:40 pm Fuck me, that looks good.
I'm pleased to see you're back in the Crewe Club, its been too long.
When you're ready to take my Rover in chop, let me know.

Re: How to buy a car in the lockdown
Thing is yours is a hell of a lot cheaper than mine and is actually useful. The old Picasso as you say is a decent enough old thing, cheap and cheerful. They get a bad press but do just get on with doing the job, they are certainly better than the C4 version. It will be a shame when they all die off as the modern stuff will never make it to cheap banger stage before being scrapped.

Nah, just the usual level of grumpiness, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a swipe at the egregious Citroen fucking Xsara fucking Piccering again, could I?
But I never wanted to be a mod, looks like unpaid "thankless" work to me. The plan was to topple some baleful beige buffoon off his unelected perch whilst giving the cunt every opportunity to come across as the biggest possible heap of steaming, foetid, hypocritical jobbies.
Worked, didn't it?

Yeah, it did work but I was thinking about the MG 1100 comments as well.

They're great, but even greater is the Innocenti IM3 with non-Butler steering wheel.
