Back in 2004 I bought a 50cc Honda Vision that I was fixing up to give to the son of then Claim_Bird. I insured it with Bennets for about £50 who INSISTED I send them a copy of my CBT despite me explaining the law and my full licence. I obediently wrote myself out a CBT and sent it to them.

After a week I decided to have a laugh and escalated my indignation to having to take a CBT with a full licence and later that month I got a phone call and grovelling apology from their customer satisfaction manager. She sent me a cheque for £99 to repay the cost of my CBT.

You may think that the tart in their call centre was following orders and ticking the right boxes but when I took out the policy our conversation went as follows..

Tart. OK Mr Claim what is your occupation?

WTC. I'm a taxi driver.

Tart. Do you have any other part time jobs?

WTC. I work for a motorcycle training school as a CBT instructor and trainee DAS instructor.

Doing stock drops to pizza franchises has to be the bottom of the HGV food chain, even below driving for 3663 or whatever they're called this week.

It doesn't explain me taking a moped test in 2013 though?
They've always been weird.

When I passed my motorcycle test the start date of my B1 was dated then, not the earlier date of my parent category B.

On my Irish licence column 11 is ten years after issue, not day before 70th birthday.

Handballing stock into freezers and chillers isn't my idea of fun.

Nor mine. But any food service outfit really is bottom of the barrel.

Closely followed by 18/26 tonne rigid tail lift work pushing cages. I've done my fair share of that in my time.

Let's have a mooch around the small ads to see what's on offer for PH use at the sub prime end of the market.

This looks like good value. I've never had a 1.6 diesel Mk4 either. Lack of rear privacy glass too which is important for getting a Wirral plate.

£2250.
