Should I buy a Rav4 ?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Before you fit a bearing, could it be the tyres have taken fright at being used? This has happened to me a few times.

Hope not - but I’ll certainly check them over! :).

Swap them one at a time for the 20 year old spare? I've also done the same before realising it was a tyre

I'd be happier to find it was a tyre than a bearing. Some good deals to had one tyres at the minute.

Bearings are £20 each, tyres aren’t! :D

I don’t think I trust the spare enough to leave it parked on it let alone drive it

Exactly where is that spirit of adventure ? What is the worst that can happen eh ? The tyres on the Bentley are all 2003 but it has been stored inside which helps. Once I get it through the mot I will give it a fast run and see if the tyres start to go. It came with 2 brand new Michellins as well, also dated 2003 though. Just looked up tyre prices for the Bentley around 300 to 400 quid a tyre. I hope these ones will be ok.

Bloody hell!
I can see how costs can escalate if just tyres are that price.

Ouch! I could spend that on tyres for the Jag, but I could also setting for mid-range at £130 or so each which seems bad enough for me.
