One of my great-great grandfather's ran something aground off Alaska apparently. Lost his ticket for a bit. Some family members are still trying to trace the story which so far is just handed down tales. 17 knots seems a fair old lick for that reefer ship, too, no wonder he couldn't stop it.

Watching a copper programme on 5star. There's a bloke had a head on in a blue x3 just blown 201. Is that the record?

I used to work in the City of London and we pedestrians always had to dodge moronic cyclists going through red lights, along the pavement, the wrong way down one way streets etc. Indeed a secretary was hit by such a twat and he broke her leg, naturally he scarpered. Anyway one morning en route to the office I was crossing a two lane (each way) road on the green light for those of us on leg power when I saw a cyclist coming from our right having ignored the red light. He was trying to pass in front of us but I thought 'bollocks, I've had enough of these twunts' so increased my walking pace and as he passed very close to me I kicked his rear wheel quite hard. To my immense satisfaction (and that of other people especially the drivers waiting at the lights) his little mudguard slipped and jammed into the spokes of the rear wheel which stopped the bike dead in its tracks with its rider kind of falling off. I used some very rude language and dropped my bag just in case he wished to remonstrate with me. But he decided that discretion was the order of the day and sheepishly set about removing the mudguard from the wheel. Sensible lad.
