Looks like I'm limited legally speaking then to within 62 miles of home base as the gtw of the van is over 5t but I'm exempted from drivers hours as it's my own materials.
Have actually got an ancient tacho but having it fitted but not in use/ calibrated seems to be more serious offense.

I was going to collect some slabs for my brother that are more than 62 miles away. No payment involved. Now wondering if I need to take the tow bar off the transit.
