That's my garden with the lamp post in.

Little house on the first 90° bend into town here had big wooden poles buried in the ground, those kept getting smashed.
So they upgraded to metal bollards.
Two got uprooted.

Before they could fix them another truck went through the gap and demolished half the house.

Every single time has been truck drivers half asleep.

Are you sure that they weren't deliberate crashes?
I know that a meek and mild guy like you could never offend anybody but if you hear a loud ticking noise I suggest that you leg it out of the back asap. They missed you with the lamppost but there's bound to be a backup plan.
