Re: Trailer Trash
Pitch a tent on it and sell burgers out of it. Still wouldn't be the worst thing I've seen peddling food.....
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Re: Trailer Trash
I think we're getting confused here.
I agree we have some quality used steel there. However when I say "Alko", I mean the manufacturer AL-KO® Vehicle Technology / ALois KOber Gmbh.
The lightweight chassis really relies on the floor of the caravan to stop it twisting.
Rather than an old-school caravan chassis like a Peak or an old Brenderup which tends to have a bit more metalwork to them.
So what manufacturer is it, if it isn't an AL-KO?

Re: Trailer Trash
I may be confused,if so my apologies. I was always under the impression that alko was aluminium or other lightweight metal and relatively modern not in 1982. I consider myself educated if it is alko.

Re: Trailer Trash
I have bought another caravan. The Hobby is too big for general touring, better as a semi permanent holiday home pitched up somewhere nice, maybe Portugal.
On speaking to my brother, he was selling a caravan he owned that I had seen plenty of times, in fact, I kipped in it a couple of weeks ago at his place in Purleigh.
I gave him £500 and I now have a 5 berth Abbey County Stafford in pretty reasonable condition.
Could do with new tyres and a bit of tidying but is overall, ready to go. I'll do the tyres before I go to Snetterton.
