Re: Trailer Trash
Hi
l ( sorry WE) currently own two trailers and a caravan.
Trailer one is a Indespension box trailer because we were( Haveish) moving house . It's far to heavy for me to drag up our slightly up hill drive at the old place and I cannot get the truck in to tow it out so I have had to buy one of those hand winchs that fit your towbar to get it out. I borrowed one of those cheap electric winchs that was as shit as expected.
The road at the new place is narrow and because of the gate angle I cannot reverse in . I could turn around and reverse in
but it's a cul-de-sac and there's not enough room to turn around .
I cannot winch it in cos I cannot get the truck in first .
Here it is at the new place after Myself and Mrs Thunder pushed it in but after a heated discussion ( which I lost) after nearly taking out the gate post its being used for storage at the old place till I figure a way of moving it on my own Does anyone know if those powered jockey wheels work. I still won't admit I bought a trailer that's too big
My second trailer is a ex Anglian Water braked tanker chassis with a home made body . It's a strong old bit of kit . and there's the Caravan An early 90s Abbey not really used it for a couple of years needs some work. Anyone want it for free Can deliver locally currently situated between Gorleston and Lowestoft after the virus has gone naturally.

Re: Trailer Trash
Hi
It needs from memory the floor in the kitchen area is springy which means it's de-lamanating also the shower tray is cracked . We just use to use the showers on site. There been some water ingress from the kitchen window . I think it's the seal. The gas fire does not work .It will need another leisure battery. It had been stood in a field for a couple of years but last May I towed it from East Northamptonshire to Norfolk (130miles) with no problems Here's a couple of interior shots taken when we stopped using it. I was going to sell it then but the impending house purchase fell through so I just stored it
It has deteriorated a bit since.

Colour me interested please. I've just got to work out logistics of bringing it back to Derbyshire and the only vehicle I have with a towbar is a reliant trike!Max Thunder wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 8:25 pmHi

Re: Trailer Trash
After much towage and a bit of smoke (200tdi) I sold the P4 to someone on the beige. He presumably had no stomach for the place and quickly departed. Good choices.
