Almost a road train.
Until 1957 it was legal to operate rigs like this on Germany's Autobahnen and major trunk roads.

I watched a couple of rigs like that get round smallish roundabouts in Portsmouth, got to marvel at the skill of the driver, the power unit was off the round about before the caravan at the back had got on to it!!

I had a chance to try reversing a twin trailer setup on the back of a 7.5t Hino, not a sodding chance, just don't know how they manage it without locking the bogies somehow - and they don't.....
