8-) Hi The first two pictures are of Scammell Explorer's . They came as either a 6 X6 tractor or recovery tractor. I am no expert (on anything trust me) but I think both pictured are both original recovery tractor's The tractor could transport tanks etc but only as drawbar tractor see(not mine) picture The Explorer nickname is a coffee pot Scammell due to the header tank on top of the radiator looking like a coffee pot

The other Scammell pictured is a Junior Constructor 6x4 Heavy Haulage tractor that was converted in 1960s to a recovery tractor .

I remember having a model as a kid with a Centurion tank on the back.

If only I'd kept all that sort of stuff, at least the ones that escaped me deliberately setting them on fire
