I've seen somewhere that Porsche are doing some new Safari spec 911s. I bet that they'll be a bob or two.

The E-types look great from some angles, then you realise they fitted suspension 6" too narrow for the car. The only exception is the lightweight low drag ones with the correct size wheels.

I'd take XK or XJS over an E-type for looks any time.

The correct answer is of course the wide track steel wheeled V12 E Type although a pre HE XJ-S is a better car.

You see, I prefer the idea of a straight six up front in them. V12 Jag means limo to me.

The CDA of a T2 is probably about 3 x the E Type.
The stability of a T2 in crosswinds is also appalling.

By Type 2 I was referring to the split-window van, I haven't got figures to hand for the bay window type but I still think they will compare favourably with the E type......whose own stability in crosswinds was not very clever, certainly in Series 1 skinny-rim form!
