Iirc it's a Photoshop of what the current SUV craze would have looked like back in the 60/70s.
The E-types look great from some angles, then you realise they fitted suspension 6" too narrow for the car. The only exception is the lightweight low drag ones with the correct size wheels.fried onions wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 3:26 pm That she-type is a vast improvement over the original.
The correct answer is of course the wide track steel wheeled V12 E Type although a pre HE XJ-S is a better car.Hooli wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 4:30 pmThe E-types look great from some angles, then you realise they fitted suspension 6" too narrow for the car. I'd take XK or XJS over an E-type for looks any time.
You see, I prefer the idea of a straight six up front in them. V12 Jag means limo to me.The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 5:06 pmThe correct answer is of course the wide track steel wheeled V12 E Type although a pre HE XJ-S is a better car.Hooli wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 4:30 pmThe E-types look great from some angles, then you realise they fitted suspension 6" too narrow for the car. The CDA of a T2 is probably about 3 x the E Type.mercrocker wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 4:55 pm Drag co-efficency of E type 0.45 Figure for a Type 2 VW - 0.44
