Apparently there's still a Carvair flying, in the States.
I thought the last was in somewhere like New Zealand, which tends to use Bristol Freighters etc. between the islands.

I think the last running Freighter is in NZ or Oz though.

That Crystal Palace book i bought tother day has a picture of the north or south tower being blown up and toppling over . German bombers were thought to be able to use them as a landmarks tobomb London.

You know what , when i bought my house , in the garden was a sheet of glass about 3ftx 2ft x 1/2 " thick , blistered and burnt with bits of spatter in it ..But still flat , bloody heavy , i bet that was salvaged as a crystal palace souvenir..I took it down the tip !
