S series Aussie Valiant, available here in the UK if you had a posh Rootes dealer.

Lancer and Valiant shared the same body shell - at least from 1961 when the Lancer name dropped off the full-size Dodge after an 18 month absence onto their version of the Plymouth Valiant (sold as Chrysler overseas, including Oz).

The two door sedan wasn't the prettiest - four doors worked better and there were pillarless 2 door hardtops and a wagon.

Ugly as a Studebaker - Clint could have found a new saying there....

I happen to like those Valiant things, though. And Studebakers.

Reminds me of a MG ZA/ZB Magnette but I don't think it is.
