I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

I know! They were quite popular wee things for a while, oddly I seemed to remember them selling better towards the end of their lives, maybe due to lowering import tariffs (or FIAT dumping them on the market)

I saw an 850 today unfortunately it was the fucking rotten sport spider sitting in my workshop. I am trying not to think about how much money it owes me and how much work it needs just to make it driveable.

Strato silver.

Silver fox finished with the early Mark III.

Those Mark IV Fords were dogshit. The original Granada could not come fast enough.

I assume the good Reverend refers to the Mk IV as finishing with Silver Fox.

The only metallics (an opalescent, rather than the same compound as these later paints) on Mk IIIs were Alcuda Blue and Malibu Gold.

There were definitely silver Escorts, Capris and Cortinas into 1972. Pete C (Cortina City) rebuilt an Astral silver (or silver fox) 2000 GXL 2 door, 1971 K plate.

Sorry Rev, I mistook your post....You were speaking of Cortinas, I was referring to Z cars!

Regarding that London pic, I have no info but the 674 code according to a quick Google was Tulse Hill/Brixton Hill area.
