Memory works differently for people, though....One of the things I remember most about those saloon Vauxhalls were the low sill levels of the cabin, leaving the boot looking too high. Carltons were the same.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

See I had a Carlton & don't remember that either 
But I do recall it got a lot of air coming down the hill & over the humpback bridge at Arundel Station, at least I think it was there. The google street view doesn't show the slight bend I remember.
