I'm here coz whilst I was outside making some adjustments, with a jumbo size tube of windscreen sealant, to my Morris Marina 1.8HL Automatic Moneypit Limited Edition, I had an uninvited visitor. Some bloke in an MG BGT pulled up. His 8-track player was playing 'From Russia With Love'. He glanced around nervously then shoved a scrappy bit of paper with 'the dark wob' scrawled on it in blue biro, into my hand. Speaking out of one corner of his mouth, he muttered something that sounded like 'the dark wob is like that other forum but there's fewer Porsches and stuff'. Then he did a hasty three point turn, rotated the number plates from British to Lithuanian and disappeared into the Worcestershire sunset at a fair old lick. I hope he knows it's a long way to Lithuania via the M5 and M54...

I can see why you don't take it out in the rain, it looks like it's just come out of the showroom.

This takes me back a few years - I remember my best mate buying a new brown 1.3 'Coupe', subsequently replaced by an Acclaim.

Focuking hell, it's even an auto for maximum grimness!

It's in astonishingly good condition, considering it's the sort of thing that used to just get thrown away after half a dozen years or so.

With a Caramac interior.

Bloody hell, though, it is nice.

Canโ€™t say Caramac without reminding me of my racist grandma. Less said the better, great Marina in a chocolate lime colour combo for the win.
