The old Commer might not be the best camper in the world but it is less likely to catch fire or be driven by hipster twats on their way to "catch some waves" in Cornwall. (Most never make it that far due to fire or other common VW T2 faults)

I can't really comment about the fire bit after the smoke in the cab a few days ago.

However, I'm probably as far from a Hipster Twat as you can get and the waves here are only about 100 yards or so from my front door, I can hear them very clearly when I go out to feed the birds on a morning.

Are the waves big enough to surf on? Not that it matters to most vw combi owners.... Would love to be able to wake up and walk down the beach.

There's a surf school just down the coast.
