This old thing seems to keep turning up like a bad penny. I saw it languishing on a driveway in Dalbeattie (about fifty miles away) the summer before last,by Christmas that year it was sitting behind a garage in Torthorwald (thirty odd miles away) and a couple of weeks before the Christmas just gone it's appeared behind a garage in Sanquhar just three miles from my house. I'm quite tempted to ask what their plans for it are but it's looking pretty ropey. Always liked them and they're getting harder to find.

There is a decrepit, pogweasled estate still smoking around the housing estates where I have a lockup. Driver looks nearly as fucked as the Volvo but they are currently still breathing. Amazing how small a 240 estate looks these days, too.

I'd prefer a 144 or 145 (nicer interior and detailing) but they're well out of my reach nowadays. Just another on my list of "wish I'd bothered getting one when they were cheap "..
Meh..I'll just keep my 740 going as long as I can.
