You can tell when the really old ones are trundling up the high Street as it knocks the DAB radio signal about.
New* phone/camera has got a 2x telephoto lens so better picture without having to risk standing in the road

Re: Wobland Spottage
This just drove past. I took a picture of it approaching but some how took a picture of my front gate. It was a young lad with hairy head of about 20. Immaculate condition and F reg. It looked tiny, I always thought moggies were rather large.

Looking back at the pages preceding this it looks like they are pretty much on par? It looks like Samsung has done away with the option of reducing the megapixies on the S10 like I could on the S6? I can set the phone to take them in HEIF format but the uploader here doesn't accept them.
I'm out in the sticks with slow interwebz anyway and it doesn't seem too laggy on the laptop?

Mine has an option of uhd which takes 25mb+ plus pictures. I keep forgetting to turn it off. People get upset because they are jealous of our fast internets.

Re: Wobland Spottage
Saw these at a local(ish) show.
Bristol Fighter. Chrysler V10 engined.
Not a fan of this - it is very low-rent inside where previous Bristols, although often poor in detail, at least had bespoke and individualistic interiors. This just looked like a kit-car....
Speaking of which, another marque between Allard and Connaught in the "Dictionary of Lost Individual British Sporting and Racing Marques of The Postwar Era" was also represented today....
Berkeley SE328. Excelsior engine 328cc. Like the Mini behind, transversely mounted, FWD. Unlike the MIni, 2 stroke and chain final drive.
70MPH and 70MPG (Not simultaneously!) were claimed. This is a 1958, midway between production starting in 1956 and ending in 1960.
Berkeley were primarily caravan builders and a slump in demand for those vehicles led to the entire project ending.

Re: Wobland Spottage
Yesterday I took my Impala to a local village for their annual fair and there were some interesting vehicles in attendance. One chap brought four cars and another three, it's quite surprising what is lurking around the area. Sadly the event organisers are hopeless at promoting the fact that classic vehicles are welcome (I had to email them to check if this was the case) thus it was a small but eclectic gathering. Even cros could have made it in his van had he known . For once I actually bothered to take some photos for your viewing pleasure.

Re: Wobland Spottage
A few more from the fair. The guy that owned the Clyde, Lagonda and Morris was quite happy to let people sit in them but kids were clambering all over the Clyde, he's a very patient man. The Clyde has a rear mounted gearbox with chain drive, it was pretty interesting to look at its ancient mechanicals. Anyway onto some old stuff.

Re: Wobland Spottage
That Clyde is a new one on me and I had to look it up. Made in Leicester, production actually ended in 1905 apparently but two cars were subsequently built-up, one in 1906 and this one a couple of years later. One of the firm's motorcycle products reputedly gave Winston Churchill his first motorised experience.
Lovely Riley, too.
