Couple more from tonight's plundering of family albums.....

Both these vehicles belonged to my Uncle who was one of the few car-owners in the family at the time and whose cars thus provided me with my earliest motoring memories. I cannot recall the Seven, only the A40 Devon that followed, but I do remember many a trip in the spartan interior of the Surf Blue Mini.

The lad of an ex was in the Navy and each aircraft carrier at the time was sponsored by a car company. IIRC the brands were Jaguar, Rover and Land Rover. Each ship got a top end car for the captain that was carried aboard from the sponsor.

A load of Southern Coppers paying off their mortgages early whilst playing slightly unfair British Bulldog.
Note all the miners needed against Range Rovers and riot shields was a tash and a bomber jacket.
