Still 70 on motorways.
I got done in a new merc vito in 2000. That had rear seats with glass and a van at the back. The cunts still classed it as a van and prosecuted me.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
You would likely have got off on appeal based on my understanding of the rules although they may well have changed since then. Rear seat and side window on that weight category should class it as Dual Purpose which isn't an update that can be made on the V5 so logbook description should not have mattered....

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
I recall another case like that talked about for ages on PH. It was a Vito again & centred around if the 'car' version was based on the van version or visa versa. I think the wording in the Highway Code used to say something about car derived vans.

Doubt it, it'll be designed to be driven at the speed limit.

I thought they didn't regen till over 2.5k. I could use fith or fourth gear but that negates the point if doing 60mph for economy.

I've no idea tbh, revs probably depends on the car/engine combo.

The revs need to be high to get hot enough to burn the shit out of the filter.
I think they work by getting red hot then it injects extra diesel in to burn it off.
Great for emissions and economy.

I know on our diesel Roomster it needs to be over 2,500 revs for 20 minutes or so.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
That's what I read somewhere. Where does anyone do that though? They are so highly geared now you have to keep it in a lower gear and rev it. Totally unnatural and goes against all traditional driving styles.
