Apologies for yet another Transit but many are hand painted in this fetching shade of blue. They are as common here as I recall them being in London in the 80's

I only took one car pic on my hols as it would have been frowned upon by management , with consequential sanctions.

The mates I am with don't seem to like cars and vans of 50 years ago and think it's odd that I do.

Could it be that they are Czech and Polish, so only have FSO's and Skoda Estelles to remember?

I used to work with a chap who simply couldn't comprehend what I could find so interesting about old cars. I was equally unable to fathom his fascination with watching eleven overpaid rapists and manbabies but was too polite to mention it.

This was almost mint,but the registration suggests it didn't always live in Scotland. Twenty years ago I wouldn't have given it the time of day,now I'd quite happily drive it.

I started thinking, hang on the vans were more van-ish. But I'd forgotten that name too.
