Monkey bike, Monkey ride

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Everything I hear says bike thefts are much lower in Europe. I'll find out as the had is parked in the street tonight.

Found a British ish pub, Belgium beer but lots of ww1 cartoons etc about. I'll come back here at the last post at the Menin Gate at 8pm.

I'm surprised you don't just use your phone as a nav, I've been all over the place just using Google maps, yes you need to pre plan your routes and download maps to allow for no signal but it just works for me.

I'm off to Spain in.a couple of weeks and have booked a Harley Electraglide for a couple of days to cruise around the Mediterranean coast on, was only 99€ a day.

Just seen the last post at the Menin Gate. Surprisingly busy and moving considering they do it every day.

It's gay.
It is the only bike where I've had a fit lass match my speed on the motorway to look over, grin and give a big thumbs up though.
She was wondering why you were only doing 40mph.

It's only got EU maps, not full Europe but tbh I'm not sure on the difference.
What will you do when you get back to Blighty?

One of my abiding memories of the days when I could stomach That There Europe was in my mate's TR3A, we were clocking a ton on the A44 heading towards Lipstadt. Think it was running just under 5000rpm in overdrive. Two Desmos came alongside, one each flank. They checked out their speedos, looked across at matey's tacho and grinned, giving the thumbs up....

We caught up with them at a Tankstelle farther along and gratuities were exchanged in broken English and school-grade German. As you sometimes do in these situations we exchanged names and addresses.

Fuck me if they didn't turn up a month or so later at mate's house. He lived in the same street as me and I heard the Ducatis as I was cleaning my Renault van so I naturally ran out to say hello. One or two Apfelkorns later I returned home as if nothing had happened.

Miss those times, on occasion....

Nearly 15 mins. It was surprisingly moving considering it's a daily thing
