It's hard to believe that the Viscount was available to buy as late as a K plate!
TDW disclock and killswitch champion.

So, too, were the MkIV Fords, both the preceding MkIII Zephyr / Zodiacs and the PB Vauxhall were quite short-lived compared to these later cars and to the Fifties models. Of course, there was to be no direct replacement for the Vauxhall, either.

I have a couple of brochures for the Viscount and both have a manual box listed as an option. Never seen one though

I wonder how many new Viscount drivers stubbed their fags out on the window switch surround. Looks like an ashtray in peripheral vision.

There is or was a limo version about twenty mins driving away but not been past for yonks
Was up some bodys drive so a picture would be tricky.
As I suspected I was right about everything.
