It surprises me too. One lass I follow on FB who was riding around the world spent about a week cleaning her bike before it'd be allowed in Oz.Broccoli wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 10:25 pm I’m amazed they let it into the country with all that vegetation stuffed away in it!
I’m looking to bring a car in the other direction, and have been told the underside needs to be clean enough to eat my dinner off!
Still, the power to weight of the Boogie Wondervan seems to be heading in the right direction!

Oz has a farming community to protect from imported pests

Thankfully there are not as many pests in this one as there were in my Mustang
I unscrewed my in dash yet defunct add on AC unit yesterday but couldn't pull it clear, the light caught a vintage dead spider lets call him Chad
Tail and spindly bugger but now as crispy as Wilfred Bramble
Also noticed the top of the range Hi power stereo extravaganza had once been on Fire
Which was nice
Might see if i can get it going again out of the van in a well ventilated area near a fire extinguisher

Do you think they would notice an AR15 under the seat of the next one?

I sincerely hope you are wrong. It’s always so great seeing how you turn these unloved tanks into something so cool!

Electrickery Advice Needed!
So its cold I don't want to go out and play Van I just want to keep myself awake at night trying to figure Van shit out in my head
So when I agreed to but said Van I was sent loads of pics I never noticed the lack of facility for Windscreen (or is it Windsheild?) wipery
When it got here I realised a nice 1cm hole on the metal dash where the wiper switch should live!
I don't blame the guy I bought it from he bought it in the states as a non runner and stated there may be bits missing
But its me now who has to figure it out
Now I could just go buy a replacement
But.......................................
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOS-MoPar-19 ... 2816069565
So with that in mind lets see the alternatives ?
https://www.force4.co.uk/item/Exalto/2- ... Control/26
Now I have a nice factory plug that looks a little like this (Library Pic)
I came across this forum thread and I am guessing if this is how Mopar suggested testing motors and bypassing switch it wouldn't be too hard to wire up a non Mopar Switcheroo
Please note for purpose of wiper circuit they used the same switch and motor on all applications be it chargers, barracudas, vans, trucks and there's not so many van forums so have to think outside the box
https://forum.e-bodies.org/electrical-a ... ing/377/15
I don't really want to cut off a factory plug but I'm guessing bullet connectors could be used to reconnect the pigtail if I ever got a genuine switch again?
I am getting cold feet as last time I was in this position with Shitey needing a temporary wiper switch set up to get it through an MOT i used a generic rotary switch but it kept shorting and blowing fuses
That said I was bypassing a multi function stalk with a Clicky Clacky mechanical switch whereas in this instance i think these switches are fundamentally the same creatures?
So could somebody here with an Astro Physicist degree in Wiperoo physics please look over my dilemma and answer
Can I do this on the cheap
Good news is the Wiper Motor is still there
As is the wiring and the linkage/wipers etc just some arse nicked the switch before it left the states
They also nicked the bloody washer bottle and pump
Though the tubing and wiring is still there I have a Ford one that will fit
That'll stir up the Mopar Massive
Answers on a postcard before I blow myself up!
Thank You lot as always
Jo

Male spade connectors should plug into that multiplug ok. Then you can connect those to any switch you choose & so forth.
