The last line of this test is particularly prescient. I haven’t got time just now to go back to Vauxpedia to remind myself of the FE Viscount V8 , which was basically a Chevy engine in a Transcontinental Ventora that came so close to production that an example had to be removed from the Earls Court stand when the Bloody Rag’eads kicked off and killed the potential market.
