Yeah that was super cheap and gone already. A couple of years ago I was getting them for a couple of hundred euro but now it's 500 minimum. The French have got wise to the value now.

Re: Two wheels good.
Well the Suzuki workshop manual just says 'check the chain for excessive wear' without quoting any measurements. I've emailed Suzuki to ask, but I'm not that hopeful for a useful reply.
The only ideas I can think of is to pop the tensioner out & see how far through it's travel it is, if it's near the end then something has to be well worn. The other option is buy a new chain to measure the links, but at that point I might as well just fit the new chain anyway.

Re: Two wheels good.
What sort of a job is it too fit a new chain? Is it possible to split the existing and wind the new one in then fit a rivet link?

I've not looked too closely at that yet. I do know it suggests fitting new sprockets on the cams, but doesn't mention the crank.

Sfq. I changed my address on lisence eighteen months ago. It came back with what looks like motorbikes. I've never passed my practical although I did pass the theory. Have they made a mistake and can I go and buy an F thou?

I had that as well but when you look into it the 79 (3) bit means you don't have it

More mysterious is that Mrs H only ever sat a B test sometime around 2000 in France, but exchanging it for an Irish licence seems to have gained a full A1.
