With that mileage it will still be OK. What can you get it for? Are you going to run it or just flip it?

That was the later E90. The 2005-2007 N46 was borderline shit, the 2007 in N43 2.0 is so bad as to be unfit for purpose. Probably the most unreliable 4 cylinder engine ever made.

You want to be stealing it then. A four door 320i auto is just not desirable. Maybe out it for £1295.Warren t claim wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 9:52 pmFlip it as I need the money. The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 9:51 pm I spouted off without seeing the mileage.

Fuck. With it's history and mileage, I was hoping to get near two grand. The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 9:56 pmYou want to be stealing it then. I was referring to the 4 cylinde engines, sorry.
I think it'll do £2k, but it'll be hard graft getting past the idiots wanting to knock you down.

It might do 2 bags. E46's are still in scum territory but you could be lucky.

Re: Paging Reverend Blue Jeans
You'd be surprised at the number of cum guzzling fuckwits I had to deal with selling my E61 4.4V8.
Asian Chancer, "I'm travelling from Bradford and your BMW isn't very economical, will you knock a grand off?"
WTC, "No, if you can't handle the fuel economy buy a 520D."
Asian Chancer, "A 520D would cost me two grand more to buy."
WTC, "Two grand buys you a lot of petrol."
In the end I bit the hand off a Russian guy who bought it for £2500 to drive back to Moscow. I wonder if it made it? It's second autobox was begining to start clunking at 193,000 miles.

Re: Paging Reverend Blue Jeans
We treated it to a jump start for the first time in months and it went first turn of the key.
After a quick run I can say that it does drive like new. The gearbox seems lazy compared to the DSG box in my Ioniq and the heated seats take ages to warm up. I must say that the engine is super silent and completely free of any rattles, VANOS or otherwise. The steering does seem quite heavy for a PAS system but the old thing does handle superbly.
As it's been parked under a tree it needs a total valet which will be sorted soon. It is a shame that the alloys need a refurb at such a low mileage and a scratch on the NSR quarter has been badly touched up.

I really need to get at least £2200 for it.
