Didn't stop, for convenience of the video. Couldn't think of where to drive that wasn't thoroughly dull.mercrocker wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 8:10 pm You forgot the malteds...! Fantastic, though, I watched that twice.
Did you spot the Renault based Winnebago? (It's beige)

Made a bracket for the lower half of the tube but it's a bit thick. I'll find some thinner steel and make another.

Cleaned it up and gave it a coat of paint. I'll put on tomorrow.

Re: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain
What was that about tomorrow?
Didn't happen
Did it today though. Also sealed the exhaust manifold as it was leaking from an uneven surface.
That's all the missing bits of engine replaced now.

Re: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain
Set the ignition and mixture after sealing the manifolds; engine now runs cooler, which is good. That was mostly down to the timing. Five degrees can make a fair bit of difference.
Cleaned the Chief head up a little bit he's still pretty bad. It'll do until I can get a replacement.
Not much else to report, bad weather is headed this way so I'll be boarding up. Again.
