Re: What did you do today?
Clouds of smoke out the exhaust. Engine running fine, not over heating, coolant system pressure isnt excessive, no oil in water etc. Started smoking at idle, then as revs lift it pumps out clouds of oily smelling smoke

Do these have a PCV system? I bet they do and it's blocked.

Or my other favourite - brake fluid getting sucked through the servo into the inlet system.

Re: What did you do today?
Reading up on the way back it seems there is a breather that blocks up. Official Jag bulletin says to run a 2.5mm drill bit down the outlet. Lots of smoke though, smells oily so it might be an easy fix but doubt it. Big shout out to autoaid. Called them at 4pm in new forest area and I'm 35 miles away from home in Coventry already

Ravenscroft are a good bunch, too. Safe in their hands. Hope you can get it sorted, bloody bummer that it is.
