Re: Crash! Bang! Wallop!
Possibly... I'm not saying the Police ever say anything other than the truth but to get a seized vehicle back that has been seized is easy. A small fine and proof of insurance is all you need, so long as its within a couple of weeks. Anything not claimed usually goes to auction, if it has a value. All this talk of vehicles being crushed makes a dramatic scare tactic though.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 8:57 am Want a bet that was an out standing stolen that wasn't identified before being crushed?

On the theme of vehicles wedged between things;
On Douglas promenade the Horse Trams used to run on parallel tracks in the middle.
In the 80s some TT Visitor from Germany on a BMW boxer twin decided
it was a good idea to overtake between the two horse trams as they passed each other.
He got the bike firmly stuck between the horse trams scaring the crap out of the horses.
He was being beaten to a pulp by the little old ladies on the trams in seconds.
There was a bunch of UK TT visitors were waiting their turn after the Tram Drivers had their shot.
Herman must have been quite relieved when the police arrested him...
