Surely that should read £65.00?

No way! Cheers for that, have you got a link to the listing? I've not come across another one since I first started a bit of research on this truck ages ago and now two more have appeared in the last 2 weeks!DodgeRover wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 10:22 am Bugger me look what just turned up for sale

You could always message her direct although whether she will ever notice the message is another thing.

Yep, did that as soon as I saw it was pulled. Lo and behold she hasn't got back to me as you have pointed out, no doubt it's gone into another folder that she barely ever looks atDodgeRover wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 5:16 pm You could always message her direct although whether she will ever notice the message is another thing.
I was hoping to hear about the bed floor today but nothing as yet.

Re: Dangel 504 Pickup bits needed. Page 13
Her husband got back to me in the end, she had posted on his behalf. Turns out he's a classic car buyer and had bought 4 other cars off the same bloke, Reckons he was trying to sell that one on his behalf and gauge a price until all the Facebook fuckwits came crawling out the woodwork so the ad* got pulled.
I didn't get round to doing anything to the pickup but did go up to have a look at it. I've formulated a plan I think to try and keep it straight and true when I have to cut the shit out of it? I got two sections made up just in case but the other side really doesn't look too bad at all at the mo so hopefully only have to do the one? I'll borrow one of the plasma cutters I fixed the other week to do most of that I think.
[/attachment] Mikey's managed to take the loose off the chassis by borrowing a grinder with a speed controller to make it less fierce for a novice to use and the 2 coats of Hydrate 80 applied as per instructions seems to have done its job.

I seem to be having a bit of a run on pickups at the mo.
It's been going through the usual weight loss as time progresses and has developed a habit of shedding its mud guards from time to time.
Scrap heap challenge as usual as someone wants to use bits of stuff he's got lying around, new steel is so much quicker to use.
WTF is it with this image uploader having a spaz attack and jumbling images?
Not too shabby for a nearly 20 year old truck but it is a Ford...It's been going through the usual weight loss as time progresses and has developed a habit of shedding its mud guards from time to time.

Re: Dangel 504 Pickup bits needed. Page 13
I want to remove and replace the whole bed as it'll be quicker and easier in the long run but that's not happening so I've had to cut an area of the bed out to allow access
Not the prettiest but it's stronger than it was. There's also always other interesting bits and pieces hanging around.
