Oddly enough my E30 320i auto always felt nippy once it was moving. The Reverend Bluejeans wrote: ↑Thu Apr 02, 2020 10:52 am 0-100 was the sign of a proper car.
A few years ago I did a light resto on a really nice early E30 320i. These had the 3.45 final drive and that meant it could get to 60 mph in 8.5 seconds using second gear at 6200 rpm. Over that it was as flat as a fart, just overgeared. Later ones had a 4.1 diff, so 0-60 needed 10 seconds and third gear. Once up and running through it was really lively in third fourth and fifth.

Out of that line of motors, I’d go home with the blue one. (Whoops, ref: p23)

Odd. All the Canadian engineering and construction firms I worked with in Hamilton were imperialists, and the Myanmar firms I worked with in Mandalay worked in metric. I think the Chinese have had a massive and recent influence in Myanmar.

Just to get back on topic.
The Dolomite and Mini 1275GT are in my humble opinion the two most suited vehicles for fitment of a full length Webastard sunroof.
I appreciate that some of you may have a different opinion but then again, that just means you're a cunt.

Nope. If you need an open top MGBGT there is the MGB alternative.

But the Roadster doesn't look as pretty imo. Helped that the GT has Pininfarina input.Warren t claim wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2020 8:17 pmNope. If you need an open top MGBGT there is the MGB alternative.
My biggest regret on the MGB is not getting one with a Webasto. I can't cut a hole in mine as it would seem wrong, given there are plenty of them about with it.
