Re: What did you do today?
Bailed out of the GS. While something interesting, it's just not my thing. The thought of it arriving made me feel indifferent. If it'd been a ADO16/Allegro/Maestro/something British like that, I'd been super excited. Comfy, practical french estate - not so much.
Giving it to someone else on the forum who really wanted it and is genuinely excited about having it land on his doorstep. Exactly what the car needs to survive. I'd just got it fixed, driven it a few times, got bored and flogged on (hopefully for a small profit to justify the hassles).
Mrs SiC said it was incredibly ugly thing and I dodged a bullet.

Mrs SiC is correct, they are incredibly ugly excuses for a car.

Astro passed its MOT , clean pass! Has a bit of an oil leak, so checked that out and gave the joints a good greasing. Wish I could give my joints a good greasing..

I've driven three different cars, put two of them through the car wash, put petrol in two of them and driven up and down the same piece of road.
The Jag is back, yay! New rear suspension arm, washers that do, new plugs etc and all new filters, Mr P is my hero. By the way Mr P did I leave a leather glove in your car?

Why are you challenging him to a duel?
