They're nice to drive when they're working. Working on them is a different matter though and there's always a feeling of them farting in your general direction

It wasn't that bad the plugs were all Motorcraft so probably fitted by main dealer at some point. The manifold isn't that hard to remove you just have to be very careful with all the plastic pipework that is very easy to break. I am just waiting for the rear suspension arm and it will be all done.

Re: What did you do today?
Started delivery for uber eats yesterday morning. Knocked out over 25 quid for any hour and half total including waiting for orders and used about 3 quid of diesel. Went out this morning for half hour as I was at a loose end and needed to nip to Tesco so turned status to online and made another tenner and this evening for an hour total and made another 20 quid.
So around 6 or 7 quid fuel used, about an hour to 1h15 total delivery time for 50 quid. Not too bad. Better than the 12 quid at evri. Even at the takeaway it's only a quid per delivery. Mpg still high 40s and I'm not even trying to drive economically.
Fitted an LVVD throttle pedal to the van instead of its original D pedal. The D branded pedal allows cruise control only whereas the LVVD pedal has a decent line an automatic kickdown to override the speed limiter function so can activate bith limit and cruise. Trimmed the steering column shroud and fitted the cruise and limit stalk and it's working as intended. Also removed the wheelchair ramp at the back of the van. Left the folding mechanism but just removed the ramp and gas ram by removing 10 bolts. The folding mechanism acts as an extension to the boot lid with weather seals and the boot lid catch but it leaves me better access into the back. Easy to refit if needed.

Winking Willie's fish and chip shop is just off to the right of the pic.
They used to do really good F&Cs but I haven't been there for years.
The cliff railway about in the centre is worth a ride as well.
