1995 Bilk Float TD
I bought this piece of shit as a budget camper and parts dragger.
227k on a 1.9TD, recent cambelt, terrible dashcam, minging interior which I've since cleaned. The glovebox fell out and the switch on the dash runs the blower.
It was an 8 seater; I'm not going to use the back bench so I sold it to another Eurovan licker; I'm delivering it there next weekend.
It's as rough as houses to look at but drives fine and does about 40mpg round the doors.
The lacquer peel is disgusting and I couldn't care less.
Overall I quite like it.

[checks receipt] £300 - and I feel like I was done.
I sold the rear bench for £50.
It got the Bilk Float name at work.

Fans of Local58 would do well to check out my dashcam footage. I've never owned a car with a dashcam before.

No, the chebs wouldn't insure it so I added it to my modern car policy for £not too much.

I suppose it has its uses as a disposable dogging van, especially as it has a dashcam. I take it you're going to be a regular at Sale Water Park again?

What parts will you be throwing in the back of it? And I don't mean body parts.
