It's not that much when spread over the years and It's not like I own a Mini or Fiat to get through it double quick.Scruffy Bodger wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 5:56 pm No fire extinguisher sales places near you instead of spending so much on gas?

You're lucky you don't own a Jag like Tommy.Eddie Honda wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 6:42 pmIt's not that much when spread over the years and It's not like I own a Mini or Fiat to get through it double quick.Scruffy Bodger wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 5:56 pm No fire extinguisher sales places near you instead of spending so much on gas?

True but my last refill was 20 quid, was 7 when I got the bottle I think? Zero rental on mine and cost about 25 quid full of gas years back.Eddie Honda wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 6:42 pmIt's not that much when spread over the years and It's not like I own a Mini or Fiat to get through it double quick.Scruffy Bodger wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 5:56 pm No fire extinguisher sales places near you instead of spending so much on gas?

306 UPDATE
https://autoshite.com/topic/27657-eddie ... nt=1200086
In trying to get the exhaust system sorted properly this time, I went ahead and ordered another different mid-pipe and back box. Ended up sourcing from Mister Auto as trying to find anyone else to ship an exhaust is hard work.
Initially the back box was shipped and a day later the rest, then they met up again at the Irish hub over the weekend and arrived together. The boxes have been through the wars.
The back box is by MTS, tail pipe finisher is welded on the piss.
And there's something cunting inside it. That's going to drive me crackers.
It's highly likely I'm not going to send this back, but instead make a hole in it and weld it back up.
Couldn't get a MTS middle, so opted for a Veneporte
There's no mandrel bending going on here before it joins the back box
I haven't seen an exhaust like that since Tommy went over a beach wall with his Lada Riva and it landed six feet down onto the beach. Brutal.

Last time I saw an exhaust bent like that I'd failed a hill climb in my Disco and bent the back box round the rear axle. Run perfectly till it got on boost, then the turbo stalled.

I done the stainless steel tailpipe on my Farina coming off the ridiculous camber in the Esso garage at Cheddar. Mind you I had far too much shit in the boot but I looked like a fucking Japanese gangster for the rest of the week until I got back home.
