Can you let me know what all the safeties do and where they are? my dad has the same and I'm sure it's a bugger to start half the time as some safety is still engaged....

Only two as far as I know. The seat has a switch underneath and the foot brake need to be depressed. Make sure the pto for the mower deck is disengaged too.

Ah didn't know about the seat switch as the battery is knackered he usually uses the pull start...
