What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Popped down to Weston-super-mare pageant of transport yesterday afternoon. Decent selection of varied stuff there.

These are the ones that caught my eye.

Driving her juke (1.2 turbo pez) from mine to hers yesterday and i developed a missfire when accelerating. Just one big miss at about 2k revs in every gear and a reduction in power from then on. No eml or nowt either. Got nearer her house, switched it off and back on and it fixed itself.
I'm calling that repaired for now..
Worth sticking my code reader on even though no eml?

In my experience that's not a misfire but that's usually more of a jerk where the car is changing from normal mode to a limp mode. Should be a code stored against it if it was in limp.

That Oxford MO is Squire Dawson's. Seems to have made it back down to Somerset registration area!

Great stuff, there, some of which I recognise from various visits in the past. I'll be down there myself next weekend at Court Farm.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

It's definitley poorly. It isn't doing the big hiccup thing but it's missing under load in the top three gears and has about half power all the time. Still no eml.

Theae are the only codes stored. Nothing engine related. Don't think the clutch switch would cause it.

There is quite a good classic meet down in a campsite in Cheddar on a Sunday morning. Not far from the cheddar car boot market either. I'm not massively into car boots but it's a pretty big one.
I'd have gone down today but had to wait in for the 330i tyres to be fitted. Plus I need to finish getting the Spitfire ready for this season.
They also have a meet up on a Wednesday evening at Chew Valley Farm Park too. Pizza and stuff available to buy and a great view over Chew Valley. Plus if you have (grand)kids in tow, the farm park is open for a wander too if they need to be distracted.

There is often a (smaller) meet at the blue bowl inn on a Saturday lunch time:

Food is mostly burgers and stuff but they're pretty good. Usually gets booked up in the restaurant, so worth booking in advance.

Try scanning the engine module directly. Also try scanning in OBD2 mode and see if that comes up with anything else.
