I've just got me Golf sorted to be picked up by Scrapco tomorrow . As it has a dead battery, it isn't going to drive , so i spent 5 minutes screwing in the tow hook , so it can be winched on ... Wouldn't screw in ... .i looked to see if the thread was damaged , then saw it is a left hand thread . Screwed straight in . Why a left hand thread then ?

Could be .. ! Glad i wasn't on my hands and knees in mud or snow in the dark finding out its LH .

So , Scrapco asked for my card deets to pay me .. just the long number and expiry date ...?? Not acc.no. or sort code ?

One for Eddie Rainman I think...

I'm trying to source driver's door leccy window switches for a Daihatsu Terios. The car is an '05 but I suspect '04 model because I can find '05 switches and they look wrong.

Trying to find these...
