If the accident was on the west side of Staples Corner, its an infamous spot for high speed driving (showing off) drining from the A406 or the A5 onto the M1. Can guess that the car was something typically high powered favoured by the youth.

I do miss my old Disco with winch bumpers & rock sliders at times. I'd let people drive into it a few times when they were being wankers & just laughed a my car wasn't damaged in the slightest.
The most satisfying one being writing off a new Toyota with no damage to my car when he'd decided to try & force me off the road & then drive under my towbar because it didn't work. I slowed down to walking pace for some red lights & stood on the brakes. I felt the thunk as he hit the chassis rails & the second thunk as the tow bar landed in his bonnet. The front end of wankface's car was smashed to fuck, steam pouring out etc. I stuck my head in the window & in a polite voice asked 'didn't you see me?' and pointed to the bright orange LR on a sunny day. He fucked off in a cloud of steam etc so I reported him for failure to stop, according to the letter I got he was done for that too
