Dunno. There's always perverts about. What would it cost to get a solo K100, stick leading links on it and find a Palma to cut in half and fibreglass up again? It's not bad pricing in the grand scheme of things. Trouble with a big rig like that is the extra bulk hauling it around. I'd guess it's in the 90-100kg league. Not quite a Watsonian Cambridge lardbucket, but not far off. I'm not really sure I want to start out combo riding something like that. (I was also thinking of how much crap I could load into it on ferry cheapness)

I regret not borrowing the dough to buy a new one before the interest rates shot up. Could have saved money as borrowing at the time would have been cheaper than dealing with the subsequent supply chain hyperinflation

Would it be any less than a small car on the ferry? I thought they went on size?

It would.

e.g.

Irish Ferries 30/04 one way Dublin to Holyhead:

From €170 car and driver - car up to 4.7m long / 1.9m high
€89 for solo m/c. €99 combo/trike*. (When choosing either the trailer drop down box disappears ???)

(*on one occasion, I have seen combo/trike fares cheaper than solo - I was wishing I had a Sidewinder to avail of the cheapness!)

Stena same day/route:

From €169 car and driver - car up to 4.7m long / 2.0m high
€85 for solo, combo or trike (including trailer) - they lump them all together.

As you can see Irish Sea crossings are fucking expensive compared to English channel ones (yeah, I know it's further, but...) and getting wet is an attractive option.

You don't need a trailer. Collect it with your bike.

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

What is the point in these fucking stupid AI adverts. Maybe on 3 year old Fiesta but definitely not on old things, this Executive should be right up my street, but the ad doesn’t even tell me if it’s all there let alone anything about it.
