I know most on here will be aware of it, but I just love any chance to show this picture;
I think "we" should build another one. Plenty of GM "UPPs" (unified power package) out there; we'll use the 8.2 litre CaddyMotor not the Opel.
Difficult to find a Cresta that is metal-enough for 500 cubes however...

Big Bertha complete with Gerry Marshall and 4 bare chested lovelies is my avatar pic in The OtherPlace. Makes me smile that there’s breasts on every page I post on and the mods have never noticed .
Anyway my Vauxhall knowledge is all stolen from Vauxpedia which is an amazing website and you can lose hours there.
Some useless information:
Tony Lanfranchi, one of his big drinking and driving buddies, was from a big Leeds baking family.
His dad , Silvio, had a large eponymous cake shop in the centre of Leeds and a brother, Malcolm, had a bread factory about a mile out of the centre. Malcolm had one of the first Quattros in the UK which I used to see on a regular basis, parked outside the factory.

Early Haflinger in that top pic I think but I can't work out what the Yank is....might be Ford/Lincoln/Mercury but nothing seems to match!
The haflinger could go where even the land rover couldn't thanks to it having proper diff lock. I'm sure you could select to lock either axle too.

My initial thought is that it could be an AMC Ambassador, especially as they were available in RHD.
Just found a picture of my random hubcap collection and not sure if the Rambler one is the same as the car in the pic.
