United States of GRIZZ - Just how random do you want it?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Lock is different.
If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem mate.

In what way? All PSA stuff is similar.

Here's a 207 with the plastic smashed off. Same deal.

Screwdriver blade (top right going to top middle) flicks the spring loaded wotsit to the left.

Most seem to be going with a small Torx or slim nail in the hole in plastic to flick it across.

This captures it on a Citroen, but the idea is the same. Pity he can't hold the camera the right way round, but it's all in shot with the trim still on.

All PSA stuff the same.

Probably yes.

Did try take a pic without losing my phone.

Failed as flash and focus darkens background.

Only one Torx to be seen.

If I managed to unscrew it, being as I can only see one, would that possibly release bootlid?

As I say, looks like the lock area/ mechanism has been adjusted downward.

There you go.

Much swearing and muttering about matches and petrol later.

The boot lock in mine.

That torx looks to have slipped. Maybe that's the reason it won't open?

No, the boot key lock isn't direct. Has to send power to central locking.

Looking a boot locks, it looks similar to the 106. There is no hole...but the same idea applies.

In here, flick to right. Latch releases.

Aim here, between lock and push between trim, engage slot and flick right.
