Pic 1 has it all, bloke strapping stuff to his roof, Beetle on the path and two(!) 412s in the road, Marina up on a wobbly jack, Mini with the bonnet open, £1275 poo brown Mini in the showroom, I just want to walk up that street and take it all in.

Dorchester Road Upwey Weymouth. Extract from the web : " The opening of the Texaco garage run by Simon Flower in 1977. A special price on petrol (£1.30 a gallon for four star) led to the road becoming blocked with queuing cars. A one-way system around the garage helped to get the cars off the road." Believe it's all redeveloped though there is another site on the opposite side of the road.
