What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I'm at the train station on a collection. Anyone wanting a jobby count?

No need for the jobby count as that is one of the things that have no place on a collection. Pictures of miserable trains and the snacks you need for the journey are appreciated though.

Pedantic mode;

A locomotive pulls (or pushes) a series of carriages (or wagons) that is called a train. Unless Drum has pulled a fast one and knows the driver of a single locomotive (known as a light engine), he'll be having a rendezvous with a train.

Anorak back in the cupboard, as you were !

at the park earlier, sun was shining (what a rare event that is) so I put the roof down for the bimble home. Within 300 hundred yards, the first drops were splatting across the windscreen and as an added irritation, every traffic light was with me!

Got stuck at some traffic lights for road works, for the very shortest period and the rain was getting heavy so started to put the roof back up... the lights then naturally, changed. I had to pull into someone's driveway to finish the roof operation. 25 seconds is a lifetime when it's raining and you're blocking someone's drive!

Oh I knew that, I was just joining in the wrong but vaguely accurate names for a railway station.

Home finally. Took about 2 hours 50 mins for the return drive.

I should have taken pictures of the view from the train when it was in the mountains. Got above the snow line at one point.

The car itself is a boring modern so of little interest. Performed well enough although showing some signs of its miles.
