Check the fuel filter as well, that could give you a measurement of fuel enough for ten minutes if it keeps blocking up.

I have been the last couple of days trying to strip the rear hub on the VFR, first I couldn't get the circlip that holds the brake plate in place to come out, it was corroded in place then after hours of work I got that free, went to pull the brake plate off and that is corroded in place.
I have been bashing hell out of it, in all directions with a large hammer, but it won't move.
I have a blowtorch, but it is only a little one, so not much help at all.

I watched a YouTube tutorial on hub disassembly and that particular part of the process is about two minutes work.

Reminds me of taking the rear hub out of the Sprint GT I had, on those the hub seizes into the swingarm. I found a way to use a calliper bolt in the swingarm to lever against the disc & get some pressure on it while I got the hammer out. Took fucking hours though.

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

I did about a hundred on the Glide today with Mrs.B on the back and it didn’t rain at all.

On the contrary, good timing is when you get home then it rains.
It hasn't happened to me a lot.

Yeah, they do that as well, the brake plate was stopping the hub from turning until I undid the torque arm, so I know the hub isn't siezed.
That would be the icing on the fucking cake.

I have found some white vinegar and I am dousing it in that at the moment, I have some freeze spray coming tomorrow, then I shall try again.
My fucking arms are killing me at the moment.

We have had roadworks every weekend at the roundabout into the estate where I live so the electric scooter has been put to use. It is great for nipping around town and filtering past the really long que's this work creates each weekend but the range is total shit. When it is on a full charge it flies along and happily keeps up with the traffic in the 30 / 40mph areas but then on the one bit of national speed limit all the cunts have to overtake and don't even give the 1.5 metre thing that you are supposed to give pushbikes. Once it is down to 60% it starts to lose a lot of performance and where it was doing 40 its down to less than 30. It has done 3 weekends though and about 4 trips to the workshop and back which is about 2 1/2 miles each way. Hopefully it will get me back down there this morning as it is down to 28%. It has been very handy though as I can push it out the back gate which brings me out on another road so I avoid the roadworks which makes it perfect for picking up shopping or a takeaway Saturday nights. However it has rained everytime I take the fucking this out and getting soaked is no fun. I will check the mileage later but I suspect it is only about 20 miles range which is surprisingly low. The electric experience otherwise is good, for a 50cc equivalent it accelerates much faster which I feel is very important. It is nothing like as fun as the old SS50 I had 30 odd years ago though, but around town on the flat it does the job pretty well with loads of storage for shopping.

It was down to 24% when I got here this morning and put it on charge. A charge costs about 14p so I was told but takes quite a few hours. I was a bit out with the range according to the trip computer it had only done 16 miles. I will reset it again and make a note of the total miles as well next time it is fully charged just incase I had accidently reset the trip.
