Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

A long time ago in a different life, a friend worked for the local council as a carpenter. He had never owned a car and didn't have a licence for one, rode a Z650 for fun (later a 900 Honda) but rode a C90 for work with the BIGGEST home made (wood naturally) top box you have ever seen! He used to carry all the tools he would ever need and it weighed a tonne, that C90 would pull a wheelie at the drop of a gearchange!
Mine would pull up in first and second. When I dropped in a put bike motor it had a better spaced 4 speed so didn't pop up as well

Is it possible to fit the old style C90 legshields and exhaust onto an Innova?
It could be a very cool machine.

Pisses me off that Crunchies are so expensive now, they used to be so cheap and plentiful.

I doubt it. Frame and layout is slightly different but engine seems very similar. Even the carb looks pretty much same if only a bit bigger.

Saying that though, anything is possible. It's not as easy to get to engine though. C90 was 4 bolts. This one has plastics clipped into more plastic with numerous fittings.

the other half has been out on the FJ1200, and now we know how come its so low miles and why the previous owner got rid.

it doesn't run.

well. it WILL run for maybe 10 minutes before dying, and then won't go until its been stood for 5 minutes, when it'll start fine, run for 10 minutes and then die again.

it sounds a lot like fuel starvation so maybe there's something in the carb or the float isn't doing its thing. fucking stupid thing.

that is then another bloody motorbike that doesn't really work, so it was a good buy afterall. i can see it been pushed to the end of the road and a "for sale" sign stuck on it.
