Before it was replaced by the plastic one it was made of wood with a zebra print vinyl. I have a pic somewhere.

Electronic Speedo run from gearbox so does a guage sweep when ignition turned on. Digital fuel gauge only. The hook below ignition is just a hook for carrying your Chinese takeaway home.

A long time ago in a different life, a friend worked for the local council as a carpenter. He had never owned a car and didn't have a licence for one, rode a Z650 for fun (later a 900 Honda) but rode a C90 for work with the BIGGEST home made (wood naturally) top box you have ever seen! He used to carry all the tools he would ever need and it weighed a tonne, that C90 would pull a wheelie at the drop of a gearchange!
