Mardi Gras parade today along the highway here. Parked up ad hoc just as the road was being closed.
There was a marching band.
Floats, music, that's the king and queen of the parade on top of the yellow float.
The car gathered many beads.
Fun day was had by all

Put replacement wing on the lexus, bit of a bugger as all the plastic fastenings have gone brittle, luckily I've ordered an assorted tray of the most popular ones which is winging its way to me this week, so I want able to reduce the plastic sill cover.

It's just about legal with the 3/4 tread bit, the invisible post that dinted the wing also knocked it out of track so it ate the tyre. Got a set of wheels and good tyres to go on it.

Started stripping down the spares van to weigh it in. Now at the point where I have an engine on the floor,a van with no front suspension/driveshafts and will be removing doors,rear axle and all glass out of it and then it will be weighed in. Trouble is I havent got enough friends to help lift the engine off the floor into the spares van and I'm going to end up cutting the shell to bits to load onto my trailer for scrap.
